Pre-Written Celebration of Life Script

As society becomes increasingly open to discussing matters related to death and the dying process, more individuals are considering the option of pre-planning their own funeral ceremonies. This decision may stem from an awareness that the end of life is approaching, or it might simply be a proactive choice made for the future. Engaging in the pre-planning of your Celebration of Life offers a sense of peace and reassurance, knowing that your loved ones won't be burdened with uncertainty during an emotionally challenging time. Instead, they will find comfort in the knowledge that they are fulfilling your final wishes.

If you choose to pre-write your own ceremony, together we will create one that is tailored to your preferences, including religious or spiritual elements, readings and music choices. We will talk about the twists and turns of your life - your childhood, your relationships with family and friends, your hobbies, interests and cherished memories, allowing us to create a eulogy that truly celebrates your life, passions and accomplishments, and reflects your unique personality.

Once approved by you, a copy of your ceremony script is kept by myself, a copy is lodged with your chosen funeral director (if applicable) and a copy is sent to you to be kept with your personal papers or entrusted to a friend or family member for safekeeping.

Whilst I cannot guarantee my availability to personally officiate your ceremony when the time arises, please rest assured that I will make every possible effort to be there to support your family during this important time.

Included:

- Initial meeting to discuss the details and your ideas of your ceremony.

- A draft copy of your ceremony script for editing and approving.

- A copy of your ceremony script for you to keep and a copy for your chosen Funeral Director (if applicable).

- Unlimited contact throughout the whole process.
