Welcome to my About Me page. I'm excited to share a bit about myself and the things that bring joy to my life.
Life in Bedfordshire
I live in the lovely county of Bedfordshire, close to the borders of Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, with my lovely hubby, Rob, and our lively Staffordshire Bull Terrier pup, Stanley. We are so lucky to live where we do, and love soaking up the simple pleasures of life amidst the surrounding beautiful countryside.
My Family
I'm the proud parent of three amazing grown-up children and a cool teenage grandson. They all truly fill my life with love and laughter. Family time is my happy time!

My Passions and Hobbies
Supporting Epilepsy Society: Raising money for the Epilepsy Society is close to my heart. This charity means the world to me, and I'm always up for a new challenge to support their fantastic work. (Unless it involves running, I definitely won’t run!)

Volunteering with Re-engage: I volunteer as a driver for Re-engage, an awesome organisation that connects elderly folks with fun social events. I get to transport them to tea parties hosted by incredible volunteers. The smiles and laughter at these gatherings are priceless!
Exploring and Adventuring: I love exploring, whether it's a local walk or a grand adventure further afield. National Trust properties and gardens are my happy places. There's something magical about discovering their beauty and history.
A Love for Tea and Cake: Who doesn't love a good cup of tea and a scrumptious slice of cake? Whether at a cosy café or a Reengage tea party, a cuppa and a slice of something yummy are always welcome!
A Love for the 80s and Music: I'm a true 80s enthusiast, but my musical tastes are definitely eclectic. From 50s and 60s tunes to cheesy pop, Chas and Dave to Irish fiddle music, I love it all! Recently, I took the plunge and booked my taster class with Rock Choir. I can’t wait to see where this musical journey takes me!
